Passion

Passion is the spark. Passion is the thing that ultimately seduces me. It makes me admire you. It makes me crave. It makes me want. You have something to live for. You have ideas and opinions and dreams. You crave for something more for your life.

You can be nice and maybe cute, but that will only get you so far. From my experience from “kind of” dating, I could never reciprocate the same feelings. I always wondered why I don’t like them, why I think they’re nice, why can’t I feel anything at all.

They’re boring.

They don’t excite me or make me happy like watching a collage of colorful balloons floating in the sky. They give me a call, or send me a message, but honestly, I just like the attention. Don’t get me wrong, I try to feel, I try hard to find those butterflies. But they’re never there, and sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with me.

Nothing is wrong with me.

Just excite me. Please.

I tend to make random posts late at night when I need to study. Go me.

Dating?

How does one go about dating.

I think I know what I’m doing. Hang out. Go out to lunch. Become friends first. Get to know them better. Right? I mean…I’m no expert…but I think that’s the normal process.

But when do those “feelings” develop? Or are those feelings already there when you grab some sushi together? When is that moment you start realizing, “I really like this guy”? Is it when you first meet him and you talk about contemporary art and argue about the never ending question, “what is art”; or when he makes you laugh as he passes you the yellow tail sashimi on your second lunch together.

When does that nervousness show up in your conversation?

And when is the right time to stop if you’re not sure at all?

What if I never really care for any of these dudes…

Why do I still feel unsatisfied and have all these questions…

Booyah.

Suck my dick.
You’re in fucking college.
I’d take you more seriously if you didnt write ‘@$$’.
Repeat.

You know? To this woman, I say good, good for you. You did what you could to stay out of debt, and you know what - that’s a lot more than what I can do. And I understand where she’s coming from with “I am NOT the 99%, and whether or not you are is YOUR decision” - it’s the whole notion of accountability for yourself and whatever.
But she says she’s not part of the 99%. And to that I say bull-fucking-shit, yes she is. The 1% that is constantly being rebuked by the Occupy Wall Street movement are not in college. They don’t have to worry about living below their means, in fact they live way above their means. They have the means to afford a new car — several, in fact. An iPad or smart phone, that’s child’s play for them. I can guarantee you that they have fucking credit cards.
I get it, you’re a hardworking American. Good for you, girlie. I’ll give you that, you’re a fiscally responsible.
But if you look at the 1%, they are far from it. In fact, their fiscal responsibility has — and please, correct me if I’m wrong — but it has been a huge driving force behind the global economic decline.
It’s good that you’re so financially responsible at this age - that just goes to show that you’re levels ahead some of us in some aspects. And being a debt-free post-college student is awesome — but you’re not the 1%. You are simply not rich enough to be the 1%, too fiscally responsible to be it, but at the same time - it seems like you’re too idiotic to be part of the 1%.
I’m sorry, “idiotic” is too harsh of a word - and a tad bit inaccurate…
“Ignorant” is more appropriate. “Sanctimonious,” just as appropriate. “Self-absorption” is something I’m picking up here as well.
And what disappoints me is that she sounds like she’d be a promising leader if she actually thought her whole entire argument thoroughly, and maybe did some fucking research and reading about what this whole entire Occupy Wall Street movement is all about.
I see the Occupy Wall Street movement as a movement against the blatant hypocrisy, corruption, irresponsibility and unaccountability of what is suppose to be the top 1% elite of our “prosperous” nation.
I don’t know what she sees it as.
Because she’s obviously not part of the 1%. And she claims that she’s not the 99%.
Guess that makes her not a part of any of this Occupy Wall Street movement at all.
… Good.

Well said Henry. Well said.

Let’s pretend…

that your father supports you with what you’re studying in college.

And then have that only be pretend and not be true at all.

It’s wonderful, really.

Of course soda is bad for you. I could think of many other things that are worse.
Cancer seems pretty bad.
KFC’s Double Down is also pretty bad.
Having sex with drunk strangers without a condom is pretty bad.
The more you know…
Now time to study with my sugar and caffeine…on a motha-flippin Friday.
That’s right folks. FRIDAY.

My dad and brother have returned from Peru!

I’m so happy!

Though too bad I’m here in Irvine studying for my Econometrics test instead of being at home :(
