I had the strangest but happiest dream I’ve had in a long while.
It’s strange because I thought that part of my life was over.
Oh well.
Dreams don’t really mean anything.

A couple weeks ago, my uncle’s family moved into the house literally right next door to ours. Recently, they’ve had a couple break-ins from people stealing their food.
On Thursday, i noticed a woman pulling weeds in the front yard of my uncle’s house. I didn’t think much of it ‘cause their front yard is full of weeds so i thought they had hired someone or something. Another thing i noticed was a man who would walk up and down the street every now and then. He’d just keep walking by. I thought it was pretty sketch, but i didn’t take notice until my uncle told me that someone had stolen food from their house.
The next day, he catches the woman i saw, trying to steal my cousin’s skateboard. So he scares her off and files a police report in which i’m called in to describe and then identify the possible culprit. None of the pictures the police showed me looked like the woman, but they said she could’ve lost weight or changed her hair or look diffeferent, so, like, it was kind of pointless; i didn’t really recognize any of the pictures as her.
Then, today at around 4:30am, they break into my uncle’s house while they’re still home and my aunt calls the police and they finally catch them.
My theory on the whole matter is that that woman (and the other man who i assume is an accomplice) would go to that house because it was for sale for a long time. Not realizing the house was bought, they continued to go there and then feigned insanity when confronted by them and the police.
I feel kind of bad ‘cause they didn’t really do any harm and are probably homeless and/or crazy and only wanted food (maybe), but still. You can’t just steal from people. I hope they don’t get a severe punishment; i’m sure we just don’t want ‘em to, you know, come back.
This is what was happening this past weekend at my new home in the Valley. I can understand that they were probably finding shelter for some nights in that house, when it wasn’t owned. Though, I think something must have been wrong with them mentally since they continued to go to the house as if no one lived there, even when my dad yelled at them when he saw them the first time.
I’m just glad that this is over and that my parents, my brother, and my cat are ok.
We shall mourn for that box of cereal though, it never had a chance.
